The Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Libreville (CHUL) is the largest and most significant hospital in Gabon, serving as the primary referral and teaching hospital for the country. Managing vast amounts of patient, treatment, and operational data, CHUL plays a central role in informing national health policy.
Fragmented data systems across departments meant that consolidating patient outcomes, treatment statistics, and operational performance reports for the Ministry of Health was slow and error-prone. Policy reports often took 8 weeks or more, limiting the government’s ability to make timely, evidence based decisions.
